Payments

All prices are shown in pounds sterling. We can accept payment from most major credit and debit cards.
When you complete your purchases your payment will be processed through a secure payment gateway administered by PayPal. They will carry out an authorisation procedure on your payment card to check there are sufficient funds to fulfil the order. Your card will be charged when this is complete. In the case of international transactions your card company performs the currency conversion.
All transactions are processed by PayPal so your credit card details will not be stored on our system.

Books are currently not subject to VAT.

Shipping/Delivery

We make every effort to ensure that delivery times are adhered to but please bear in mind that delivery times are based on working days and do not include weekends and public holidays. Sometimes delays can occur. If you have not received your order within 7 working days of the estimated time of delivery, please advise us via email using the "Contact Us" link. In the unlikely event that we cannot fill an order to your satisfaction you may choose to cancel the order and if your card has been debited your payment will be refunded.
Delivery charges are based on the weight of your order. You will be offered a choice of delivery options during the checkout procedure and you can check the delivery charge before confirming the order.

Return Policy and Complaints

Items may be returned for a full refund if the buyer considers the item to be 'Not as Described', if we deliver the wrong item or if your purchase is damaged in transit. We will refund the return postage if the item is properly packed and is returned to us in the same condition as received. Please check your purchase as soon as possible and if you have a complaint advise us via email using the "Contact Us" form.
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please email us using the "Contact Us" form, your complaint will be dealt with within 24 hours.

Secure Shopping:
Each title in our catalogue has an "Order" button alongside it. Clicking this button will add the book to a shopping cart or basket. You will then be able to choose between proceeding directly to the checkout or continuing to shop i.e search for more books. You can add as many books as you want to your basket before finally going to the checkout. At the checkout you will be asked to fill in a simple form with your personal details. This will give you a customer account for this site. These details will only be used by us for your current transaction, but your account may be used by you during future visits and to check the progress of your order. Your account details will be stored in an encrypted area and will never be given or sold to any third party.
You will not be asked for payment details on this site. All financial transactions are processed on a secure site administered by PayPal. It is not necessary to have a PayPal account to complete a transaction, although PayPal will offer you the option during the checkout procedure. PayPal can be used as a conventional payment gateway and you will be asked for your payment card details after you have transferred to the PayPal secure site. However, if you have a PayPal account you can choose to use it to complete the transaction. Either way, just follow the instructions after you have clicked on the "PayPal" button.

We comply fully with the Data Protection Act of 1998 and will not give or sell your details to any other organisation.

Marketing:
We will not telephone you unless there is problem with your order. We will not send unsolicited email or junk mail. We may occasionally include promotional items such as leaflets and special offers enclosed with your purchase.
